It was not my intention to be a DJ. Originally, I planned to be a businessman. I even got a degree on it. But when my cousin introduced me to the scene, I fell in love with the concept and started to practice on my own. At first, I borrowed my friends DJ sets. But soon after, I began to buy my own, one piece at a time.
Among the first I bought were controllers, an iPad which I used for streaming music, and the best dj laptop stand I could find, among many others. Little by little I would add up an equipment or two to my setup. What I would do was work at gigs and save whatever I could for the upgrade. I guess I’ve come a long way from being a businessman.
