“In the district of galilee in Israel’s City of Nazareth lived a maiden named Mary. She was chaste, pure and engaged to be married to a Jewish carpenter, Joseph. One day, an angel from heaven visited her and announced that she would be giving birth to a child, whom she would name Jesus..” –this is the beginning of Jesus’ conception. But did we ever wondered if Christmas would still be celebrated, should Mother Mary declined to have the baby?! In my opinion, there would be no Christmas if that would be the case. That’s one of the reasons, I guess, why we Catholics, would realy pay tribute and honor the Jesus’ and our mother, the Virgin Mary.
